ok so just to be clear this review is for the topanga store…id been in and out of this store for a while, ive been to the store in paris too, i wanted that doggone trinity rolling ring darn it. so i decide ah what the heck, i roll in there with my then boyfriend probably lookin more like paupers than princes, my diva gal pal was with us too, of course SHE was lookin fierce lol..either way they have always been really polite, this time wasnt different the gent who helped me was really really nice to me i felt really comfortable, and happy he was the one who sold me this ring, it was my birthday and i had accumulated some amex gift cards, i asked if he minded that i use them, he said yea who cares money is money, some folks make u look like your paying in quarters when you bust these lil babies out, not this guy he was like whatever man, i really appreciated is no pressure but extra helpful approach, while i chatted with him some lil cufflinks caught my eye, they are called the happy birthday cufflinks he said, i told him it was my bday so we both agree that i needed them, needless to say i scooped those up too, and they are soo fabulous i have never worn them lol ..my purchase was like pennies compared to the lady two chaises over who was buying an “i mean business bitch” diamond, ?but they were as nice to us as they were to her which makes all the diff in a place where u already know they have top notch merch…well done ya’ll

Randomly decided to get my ears pierced here yesterday. I went in around 730p after I got off work. The store had maybe one customer inside and one girl (Maria-Manager) working. I walked in and asked if I could get my ears pierced. She said sure, and directed me over to the little chair set-up by the front of the store. I chose my earrings from the glass display frame and took a seat. Clearly the first ear piercing occurs for most at a much younger age (I’m in my fourth year of college); there was a teddy bear in the chair to hold onto for comfort haha. I chose not to use the teddy. I sat down and Maria unlocked the drawers. Each pair of piercing earrings is individually packaged. The gun, however, is reused each time. I feel that unless someone bled on the gun that it wouldn’t be a problem, though. It looked clean and she wiped it and my ears with sterilizing wipes. I felt reassured that as a Claire’s manager she’d surely pierced many ears in her time, and she agreed that she had.I had to fill out a surprisingly long and thorough consent form (informing me that moms usually like the last say on where the piercings should be placed haha). Then she used a marker to show me where she’d be placing the holes. I trusted her judgment on the placement, as, again, she deals with ear piercings far more often than I.She put the gun to my ear, it barely even pinched. Other ear, painless as well.She showed me the earrings in a mirror, I was quite pleased.Rang me up, total-$31. Including the earrings, the actual piercing procedure Pearl jewelry, and the bottle of after-care solution.I was in and out in about fifteen minutes. So far, so good. The piercings aren’t red or painful in any way, but I’ll be sure to update if this changes. Overall, I’d recommend getting an ear piercing here. Especially with Maria, she really knew what she was doing.
